About The Firm
Over sixty dedicated and talented people make up the staff at Krebs, LaSalle, LeMieux Consultants. Our pool of talented professionais is diverse, experienced, and imaginative. With roots going back to 1935, Krebs, LaSalle, LeMieux is built upon a strong foundation. We have grown to encompass a broad base of services, some to fill specific needs of clients and others to fulfill the goals we have set for ourselves. As Krebs, LaSalle, LeMieux continues to grow, we insure continuity of our core beliefs - quality service, environmental sensitivity, and concern for our community.

The 1930's
January 1, 1935 - J. J. Krebs, Sr. established a land surveying and engineering business in New Orleans. Although Mr. Krebs was an experienced and proficient engineer, his first love was land surveying. Both engineering and surveying services were provided, but the emphasis of the company was on land surveying.
The 1940's
January 1948 - John M. Krebs joined his father in the partnership, and J. J. Krebs & Son was formed. Surveying remained the emphasis of the company.
The 1950's
1950's - Joseph J. Krebs, Jr. and Guy F. LeMieux joined the Partnership and J. J. Krebs & Sons was formed. While the emphasis remained primarily on land surveying, engineering services strengthened and became a larger business for the partnership.
The 1960's
January 2, 1965 - the practice known as J. J. Krebs & Sons was incorporated. John M. Krebs assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer with J. J. Krebs, Sr. as Chairman. The engineering activities of the firm, as well as land planning, were under the direction of Joe Krebs and Guy LeMieux to meet the needs of land development clients. On April 1, 1965, Shelby P. LaSalle, Jr. joined the firm full-time in land development planning and designing and public works projects.
The 1970's
1970 - With the death of J. J. Krebs, Sr., John Krebs became Chairman and Joe Krebs assumed the role as President and Chief Executive Officer, Guy F. LeMieux as Executive Vice President and Shelby P. LaSalle, Jr. as Vice President. Surveying remained a vital part of the business, but the engineering aspects assumed an equal role.
1977 - With the death of John Krebs, the management of the company passed to Joe Krebs and Guy LeMieux with Shelby P. LaSalle, Jr. as Executive Vice President.
The 1980's
The '80's - Surveying remained and a vital portion of the business of J. J. Krebs & Sons, Inc., but engineering work received greater emphasis and over the ensuing years, J. J. Krebs & Sons, Inc. rose to a position of being the primary supplier of land surveying, engineering services and environmental permitting for land development in the Metropolitan New Orleans area.
The 1990's
January 1, 1994 - Krebs, LaSalle, LeMieux Consultants, Inc. was formed. This new corporation was created to provide a new structure for the next century.
December 31, 1996 - Joseph J. Krebs, Jr. retires.
1999 - Guy F. LeMieux retires.
